Ben Toft is your Skyline Center Week 4 Player of the Week!
The Iowa freshman earned the honors for the second straight time. He finished the week with the most hits and RBI of anybody on the team. In three starts, he hit .462 with a .533 on-base percentage. He also drove in eight runs, including a six RBI performance over Springfield. In that game, Toft brought home the go-ahead run in seventh on a two RBI single. The outfielder also swiped three bags over the week and had two doubles.
Keegan Luxem is your Hugunin Sewer & Plumbing Week 4 Pitcher of the Week!
The UIC freshman had a dominate start June 17 against the Normal Cornbelters. He threw seven shutout innings, registering the win and the third complete game in LumberKings Prospect League History. Luxem struck out nine batters in the start and only surrendered two hits. He allowed three base-runners over seven innings.
