Quincy starter Noah Wilder (1-1) was tagged for six runs on eight hits and three walks across 4 1/3 innings. Jordan Sfyndillis gave up five runs on six hits in relief.

In Game 2, Quincy scored twice in the first inning. Wandel Campana drove in Jimmy Koza with a single to center, and Tommy Harrison later scored on a wild pitch to give the Paddlers an early 2-0 lead.

Clinton responded in the fourth. James Hackett led off with a double, moved up on a groundout and scored on Danny Gavin's RBI groundout. In the fifth, Jaylen Ziegler doubled, stole third and scored on a sacrifice fly by Nick Venteicher to tie the game at 2-2.

In the seventh, Cooke reached base with one out and stole second before Venteicher delivered the walk-off single to center.

Luke Kehrli (2-0) earned the win in relief with two hitless innings and three strikeouts. Jaqson Tejada allowed two runs on six hits with seven strikeouts over five innings in the start. Quincy reliever Christopher Suchoski (0-1) took the loss after allowing the winning run in the seventh without recording an out.
